(大學日間部 )【第113學年第1學期:A班】<br>This course aims to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and practical tools necessary to create a stimulating and supportive environment for children learning English as an additional language. Students will be guided through effective teaching theories and methodologies specifically tailored for teaching English to children. Emphasizing both theoretical foundations and practical application, students will engage with various approaches to designing materials that cater to young learners' linguistic, cognitive, and emotional needs. Through interactive sessions and case studies, educators will gain insights into adapting content and activities to foster language acquisition and development in children. By the end of the course, students will be able to: Cognitive Objectives: 1. Understand Theoretical Foundations: Explain key theories and principles in child language acquisition, including cognitive theories such as Piaget's stages of cognitive development and Vygotsky's sociocultural theory, and their application to teaching English to children. 2. Analyze Language Development: Analyze stages of language development in children and relate them to appropriate teaching strategies and materials.
